Partnering for Resources

While most of the school’s financial requirements are funded through tuition, a portion of the needed resources is raised by partnering with families and friends of the school.  It is this spirit of Christian service and giving that helps keep a Dayspring Principle Approach education affordable to growing families, while allowing for the pursuit of excellence at all levels.

There is truly no limit when it comes to the ways and means of supplying needed services and resources to the operation of the school.  In fact, as Scripture points out, it is the spirit of unity—oneness of purpose—that promotes the accomplishment of great goals.  As individuals, churches, and organizations come together to supply unique gifts, talents, and skills to the great cause of educating our youth, no need will go unmet.

Dayspring’s advancement is predicated upon a three-pronged effort:  Prayer Partnership, Friend-raising, and Fund-raising.

Undoubtedly, without the power and covering of prayer, all other efforts are in vain.  With every financial appeal, there is a call to prayer partnership.  Additionally, Dayspring’s two prayer auxiliaries—Parent’s in Prayer and the Prayer Brigade—encourage timely attention to various school needs.

Another key focus of the school’s advancement lies in friend-raising.  As the vision of the school is promoted, we believe that the hearts of individuals will be stirred with the truth of its message.  As God confirms His work through Dayspring Christian Academy, many will sense the urgency of its mission.  Our desire is to develop mutual and lasting relationships with likeminded individuals who can help advance the mission of the school through philanthropic gifts and gifts-in-kind.

The third prong of school advancement lies in the fund-raising activities of the school.  These include four school-wide fundraisers of the year: Fall and Winter Sub Sales, Race for Education, SpringFest, and the Golf Tournament.   Our desire is to develop the friend-raising aspect of school advancement to the point that these events can be used to fund specific off-budget projects that enhance the overall program of the school, rather than be used for daily budgetary concerns.
